Judith A. Evans

Judith A. Gallagher Evans Age 75, of Spring Hill, FL, formerly of Monroeville, died peacefully on Tuesday, November 7, 2017. She was born June 20, 1942 in Pittsburgh PA to Elizabeth McClafferty and Arthur Fulton Gallagher Junior. Judy resided in Monroeville and retired from Mine Safety Appliances Company in Murrysville from the purchasing department. She also worked part time for ServicePoint, where she enjoyed assisting others. She retired to Florida's west coast to enjoy the sunshine and be with her Florida Family. Judy never forgot the Pittsburgh in her, and was a die hard Pirates fan. She enjoyed going to Spring Training games and seeing her Buccos whenever she could. Judy cherished her family most of all, and that included her friends. She had an amazing wit, and enjoyed making people laugh. She loved spending time with her children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren, and looked forward to extended family get togethers. Christmas was her favorite time of year and she enjoyed making everyone sing Carols together. She was preceded in death by one daughter, Carol Lynn Wojnar; one granddaughter, Elyse Carol Jones; one brother, Edward Blair Gallagher and one sister, Ellen Mae Shelley. She was also the beloved mother of Teri E. Pokol (Cliff), Raymond W. Jones, Jr., and Jennifer A. Trozzo (Bill); sister of Arthur F. Gallagher III; devoted grandmother of William (Jena), Colleen (Josh), Muriel, Elizabeth, Allie, Charlotte, Nolan, Brady, William (Melissa), Laura, Gabriella; great-grandmother of Jade, Owyn, Nora and Caleb. She was also survived by numerous devoted nieces and nephews, cousins and cherished friends. Friends will be received Friday 6:00 to 9:00 PM at the GENE H. CORL INC.
