WILLARD JON “BILL” RHODES SR. Age 81, of Harrison City, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, October 19, 2021. He was the son of the late Willard H. & Marjorie Marie (Holm) Rhodes and brother of the late Howard Rhodes. Bill was preceded in death by his wives, Stephanie Wakeman (Lewis) Rhodes & Mary Margaret (Zollner) Rhodes. Bill was a Major in the US Air Force, serving our country proudly for 26 yrs. He is survived by his partner, Bonnee G. Walker; sister, Wilma Jean Bucher (Michael); his children, Monica Michele Murrow and Willard J. Rhodes Jr.(Niurka); step-children, Marcia Lynn Kopcho (Gary) and Jeffery Alan Muir (Rita); nieces & nephews: Frank, Robert, Mark and the late Julie Quinn; April and Thomas Pellew; Michael, Stephen, Stacey & Robert Lempka; David, Brian, Rob & Joe Collins; 10 grandchildren, AJ, Ben, Alexis, Tiffy, Peli, Andrew, Jonathan, Alisha, Theresa & Alan, and 5 great- grandchildren. Bill enjoyed life and spent many hours with his loved ones. He was very blessed to have grandchildren and great grandchildren. Win or lose he loved his Pittsburgh sports teams. Friends and family will be received on Monday, October 25, 2021, from 4-8 p.m. at the GENE H. CORL FUNERAL CHAPEL INC. AND CREMATION SERVICES OF MONROEVILLE, 4335 Northern Pike. (412- 372-2100). Mass of Christian Burial at 10:30 a.m. on Tuesday, October 26, 2021, at St. Barbara Catholic Church, 34 Raymaley Rd., Harrison City, with Father Michael Sikon as celebrant. Interment following at Good Shepherd Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations to Wounded Warriors in Bill’s name will be appreciated.
