Vincent Paul “Vince” Caruso Sr. Age 79, of Monroeville, PA, passed away on June 11, 2018, due to aggressive lung cancer at UPMC East Hospital. Vince was born in Pittsburgh, PA., on February 17, 1939. He worked as a truck driver for Shovel Transfer & Storage and then Giant Eagle. He was an active member of Teamsters Local #249 and #30. He was actively involved with the North American Martyrs Church as an usher for the Saturday mass and helped with many of the church activities. Vince is survived by loving companion, Janet (Bonnie) Fisher; former wife Elaine Kosnac; children Vincent (Chastity) Caruso and Angela (Eric) Weiler; grandchildren Larissa, Samantha (Chris), Brittany, Melanie, Tabitha and Damien; great-grandchildren Damien and Letty; sisters Noreen Canestro, Elinor Cefola and Marguerite Berg; nieces, nephews and other relatives. He was preceded in death by his parents Angelo and Antoinette Caruso, and a sister Rosemary Cefola. Memorial visitation will be held on Thursday, June 14, 2018 from 6-9 p.m. at GENE H. CORL INC. FUNERAL CHAPEL AND CREMATION SERVICES OF MONROEVILLE, 4335 Northern Pike (412-372-2100). Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10 a.m. on Friday, June 15, 2018 at North American Martyrs Church in Monroeville, PA. (Everyone please meet at the Church). A memorial luncheon will follow in the Deluca Hall at the church. Private burial in Twin Valley Memorial Park in Delmont.
