Robert F. Schumacher

Robert F. Schumacher, age 95, formerly of Monroeville, passed away after a hard fought battle with dementia and Covid, on Friday, December 18, 2020. Following his service in WWII with the 7th Armored Division, he obtained his Master’s Degree from Pitt and taught high school in Munhall and Wilkinsburg. He was a life member of the Teutonia Mannerchor and enjoyed singing in the men’s choir. He enjoyed spending his weekends with friends on the Allegheny River. He was preceded in death by his parents, Albert and Catherine; his brother, Charles, and his wife Joyce Cotter. He is survived by his son, Edward; daughter, Gail Nalepa (husband Ray), and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be private.
