Robert C. “Bob” Haberle With saddened hearts, the family of Robert Craig “Bob” Haberle of Monroeville, announce his passing on July 18, 2022. Bob was 64 and one of a kind. He died peacefully at home surrounded by his family that he adored and the love of Jesus Christ his Lord and Savior who blessed everyone through Bob and his life. Beloved husband of Andree Haberle; dedicated and adoring father of Rachel and Jacob Haberle; incomparably devoted brother to David Haberle. Bob is also survived by his brothers, Scott and Eric Haberle and numerous close and extended family members. Bob is preceded in death by his incredibly loving parents, Robert and Jean Haberle. Bob touched the lives of so many people through his passion to serve and help others during his career as one of Pittsburgh’s most excellent Executive Chefs. Bob used his tremendous talent not only to prepare food for people, but to also express his heartfelt kindness, love, and passion to serve others and to make the city of Pittsburgh a better place. Bob loved all sports but especially golf and he scored two holes in one last year. He enjoyed music, movies, games, animals (especially feeding his deer herd), pastries, frozen custard, and vacations to the beach. He also loved to prank, joke, and laugh. Most of all, Bob enjoyed spending his time and energy with his family and friends and giving anything that was asked of him. Bob had a proclivity to make people laugh and to make everyone feel welcomed and loved. Above all, Bob loved Jesus, his family and friends and the countless people that he helped throughout his life. Bob Haberle is eternally loved and never forgotten. Friends will be received Thursday from 3 p.m. to 7 p.m. at the GENE H. CORL FUNERAL CHAPEL INC. AND CREMATION SERVICES OF MONROEVILLE, 4335 Northern Pike (412-372-2100). Mass of Christian Burial at 11 a.m. on Friday, July 22, 2022 at Christ the Divine Shepherd Parish at St. Bernadette Church, 245 Azalea Drive, Monroeville.
