Marjorie L. (Houston) McMaster, 88, of Monroeville passed away peacefully on April 8, 2022. Predeceased by parents Mary Leland Houston and Theodore Houston and her adored brother John (Carol) Houston. Marge was the much beloved mother of sons David (Lori) and Jim (Dianne) McMaster, grandmother to Caitlin (fiancé Alexandra), Morgan (Erin), Ethan, Robert and Danielle McMaster, and proud aunt to nephew Brent Houston. She was born in Beaver Falls, and graduated from Geneva College with a degree in Business Administration. Long time administrative assistant for Centri Dyne Equipment, Marge was a prolific writer, and author of a self-published biography of her mother, Mary Leland, and wrote an un-published screenplay based upon her beloved world travels. Marge was active in many community organizations such as the American Association of University Women, the East Suburban Woman’s Club, and an enthusiastic participant in local writing groups. A lifelong learner, Marge always enjoyed keeping up to date with the work of Gateway School Board, and Monroeville Council, which she enjoyed watching on television. After her sons Jim and Dave were grown, Marge embarked on many international cruises and delightedly visited at least 43 countries. Marge especially enjoyed spending time on the MS Vistafjord and made lifelong friends from all over the world. She was a kind, sweet soul, loved by all, and will be dearly missed.
