Kimberly Sutton Obituary - Visitation & Funeral Information

Kimberly J. Sutton, 59, from Monroeville, PA. passed away peacefully surrounded by her loving family on Wednesday morning, June 15th. Kim was born on September 12th, 1962, in Pittsburgh, Pa. residing most of her life in Monroeville not far from her childhood home. She was a graduate of Gateway High School, class of 1980. After graduation, Kim had a love for everything art and studied at the Art Institute of Pittsburgh earning an Associate’s degree. She worked as a freelancer in marketing helping companies design their marketing materials. Additionally, Kim worked her way up to Manager with Rite-Aid in Monroeville, working for them for over 12 years. More than her working life, Kim relished taking care of her family most of all, especially her grandson’s Codi, Casen, and Carter which she adored more than life itself. As much as she loved her human family, she also loved her family pets especially her cats and dogs. She showed her love for animals while working at Northern Pike Veterinary Hospital for many years. When Kim wasn’t working or taking care of family, she loved her “adopted home” of Panama City Beach, Florida. This was her true happy place spending many a day “frying like a piece of bacon” on the beach. Kim was a true, kind, and loving soul who always had a kind word or was always there to help any way she able. We will miss her dearly. Kim is survived by her parents Michael “Mick” and Joan Kelly, her husband of 38 years Robert Sutton, children Nikki and Jeffery, sister Linda (Michael) Gaydos, grandchildren Codi, Casen and Carter and many other family members including nieces, nephews, and cousins. She is preceded in death by her brother Michael Kelly (Kathy) and maternal and paternal grandparents. Her wishes were to be cremated with a catholic mass. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at Christ the Divine Shepherd Parish at St. Bernadette Church, 245 Azalea Drive, Monroeville on June 25th, 2022, at 10:30 am. The family will be holding a Celebration of Kim’s life following the mass at Pugliano’s Italian Grill, 1808 Golden Mile Highway, Pittsburgh, PA. 15239, from 12 to 4 pm.
