Jacqueline "Joyce" Boring Obituary - Visitation & Funeral Information

Jacqueline “Joyce” Boring (80), of West Mifflin, ended her long battle with Alzheimer's Disease on July 5, 2022. Born on August 2nd, 1941 to Ray and Katherine Felton. Joyce grew up in a large family. After marrying young, she lived her life as a dedicated Mother, Sister, Grandmother, and Business Professional. She spent her career working in sales and administration. She filled her spare time (yes she found that) mastering a long list of other skills. Joyce was an accomplished seamstress, farmer, woodworker, and painter. Her best work of all is reserved for the leadership and guidance she provided her family. Joyce is preceded in death by her parents, former husband Barrie Boring, siblings James “Bud” Felton, and Esther Galbraith, and granddaughter Jennifer DeJulio. She leaves behind her children Michael Boring, B. Scott Boring, Jacqueline (Robert) Geisler, and Yvonne (Shawn) Wilson. Beloved Mammaw to grandchildren Ryan (Lucas) Boring, Robin (Jason) Konieczka, Shane (Ashley) Dreistadt, Nicholas (Chelsie) Geisler, Tyler Boring, Spencer Wilson, and Hayden Wilson. Beloved Great-Mammaw to 8 great grandchildren, and sister to Rae Heskin, Ruth (Harmon) Reese, and Doris (Charles) Miller. Joyce spent her life helping others reach their highest potential. She taught her family to work hard, love harder, and to make time for the things you enjoy. Following that recipe, she was able to live a life that the very best of us can only hope for. Visitation Thursday, July 7th from 3-5 and 7-9 at the GENE H. CORL FUNERAL CHAPEL INC., and where her funeral service will be held on Friday at 10:30.
