George C. Geiselhart, Jr., of Monroeville, passed away on May 1, 2022, surrounded by his family. After graduating Baldwin High School in 1955, George joined the Navy where he served aboard the U.S.S. Cascade (AD-16). While in the Navy he married the love of his life, Doreane. After the Navy, he worked as a banker with PNC for 38 years and received several degrees in finance and banking from CCAC and Robert Morris. Being a devout Christian, his love for our Lord and his family was exceptional. George was preceded in death by his parents, George and Bertha Geiselhart; and his brother, Norman R. Geiselhart. He is survived by his beloved wife, Doreane E. Geiselhart; son, Eric C. Geiselhart (Jacqueline), and daughter, Lisa J. Macchiaroli (Joseph). He was the proud “Pop Pop” of four grandchildren: Maria D. Hodnett (Benjamin), Anthony J. Macchiaroli (Alana Rizzo), Eric S. Geiselhart (Abigail Pribanic), and Megan L. Geiselhart (Brandon Tetreault). Additionally, he was honored to be the “Great Pop Pop” of Georgia Rose and Parker Nolan Hodnett, Ilyana Louise and Arthur Markus Tetreault. Friends and family will be received from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. on Friday, May 6, 2022, at the GENE H. CORL FUNERAL CHAPEL INC. AND CREMATION SERVICES OF MONROEVILLE, 4335 Northern Pike (412-372-2100). Church Service will be held at 10 a.m. on Saturday, May 7, 2022, at the Good Shepherd Lutheran Church, 4503 Old William Penn Hwy., Monroeville. (Everyone please meet at the church).
