Eileen M. Stiles Obituary - Visitation & Funeral Information

Eileen Murphy Stiles, age 92, of Monroeville, passed away on Monday, December 14, 2020. She was the daughter of the late Madeline Hilda Spitler and Paul Jr. Murphy. She was married to John Lincoln Stiles for 34 years. She was a graduate of Akron East High School, Ohio University and graduate work at Wellesley College. She worked as a research chemist at Goodyear Tire and Rubber Co., Battele Memorial Institute, The Apollo Project, and had taught junior and senior high school in Needham, Massachusetts. Her most recent employment was manager for Monroeville La-Z-Boy Furniture. She has been retired for 20 years. She enjoyed playing bridge, traveling, working with leather and wood, and her book club. She is survived by her children, Barbara Stiles Urick (William) and Linda Jane Stiles; grandchildren, Madalyn, Gabrielle and Abigail Urick. She was the sister of James W. Murphy (the late Betty) and the late John P. Murphy; also survived by nephew, Robert Murphy (Debra), her niece, Ellen M. Townsend (Peter) and great-nephew, Benjamin Townsend (Alexandria).
