E. Louise Jacobs, 96, of Monroeville, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, November 24, 2021, with her family present. She was born in Greensburg on July 11, 1925, a daughter of the late Verner and Josephine (Carr) Wolfe. Louise was the loving wife of the late Arthur F. (Bud) Jacobs who preceded her in death on January 5, 1999. They were married on June 4, 1946, upon his return from the European theatre of World War II. She was a mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, aunt, and friend. Louise’s family includes her children: Jacque Jacobs of Winter Harbor, ME; Sheri Kline (spouse, Ken Kline), Harrisburg, PA; Kathy Rozumalski, Dover, DE; Dennis Jacobs, Goodyear, AZ; Scott Jacobs, (spouse, Vickie (Williams) Jacobs), McKeesport, PA; Cindy Jo Parker, Davenport, FL; and Richard “Bud” Jacobs (spouse, Debi (Elson) Jacobs), Solomons, MD; also survived by 11 grandchildren, 23 great-grandchildren and her dear sister Rebecca Robertson, living in Atascadero, California. Louise was employed by the F.B.I. during World War II and later at the Lutheran Children’s Home in Zelienople, Pennsylvania. Louise was an avid camper, camping throughout the U.S.A. and Europe and most recently many years at Mountain Pines Resort, enjoying bingo and many friends. At home in Monroeville, she enjoyed playing Mahjong and meeting with Red Hat groups in Greensburg. Enjoying time with her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren was a big part of her life. Her love of music was passed on to all her children. Louise was a long-time member of Good Shepherd Lutheran Church in Monroeville. While living in Harmony, Pennsylvania, she was a docent at Harmony Museum and a member at English Lutheran Church. Visitation will be on Friday, December 3, 2021, from 10 am- 12 pm, followed by a Celebration of Life service at the GENE H. CORL FUNERAL CHAPEL INC.
