Barbara Louise Lehman Obituary - Visitation & Funeral Information

BARBARA LOUISE (CHRIST) LEHMAN Barbara L. Lehman, 70, peacefully at home surrounded by her family on July 6, 2022, left this world to be with her lord and savior after a long battle with pulmonary fibrosis. Barb was a graduate of the Gateway Senior High class of 1969 in Monroeville PA. Following graduation she worked retail from Gee bees, Isaly’s, McDonalds, and later retired from Sheetz in 2014. In 1979 she met the love of her life Bruce Lehman, and settled in Monroeville, PA., where they were blessed with 33 years of marriage prior to his passing in 2013. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her loving husband Bruce, her oldest sister Judy, and many more loved ones. Surviving her are her daughters, Helene (Mike) Killmeyer, Tracy Lehman (Zielinski); her 4 granddaughters, Jen Killmeyer, Emily Killmeyer, Sarah Killmeyer, and Martha Zielinski; her beloved Kitties, Bob and Houdini; her brothers and sisters Billy Christ, Joann (Jim)Dick, Patty (Bill)Widmer, Carol Trout, Debbie (the late Rege) Reinersmann, Paul (Sue) Christ, Jeff (Kimmy) Christ, and Brian (Tammy) Christ. She was “Aunt Barbie” to 33 Nieces and Nephews and even more Great Nieces and Nephews who loved her very much. She was a special friend to Linda Dugan and Susan Sommers amongst many others that she cared for very much over her lifetime and made many memories with. She was the life of the party, a great baker, had a witty sense of humor, and overall had a heart of gold. She may be gone from this world but she won’t be gone from every heart she has impacted in her life. Family and friends will be received on Monday, July 11th from 7-9 p.m. and Tuesday, July 12th from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. at the GENE H. CORL FUNERAL CHAPEL INC. AND CREMATION SERVICES OF MONROEVILLE, 4335 Northern Pike (412-372-2100), and where her service will be held on Wednesday, July 13, 2022, at 10:30 a.m. Interment following at Good Shepherd Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, we ask that in mom’s honor you choose to donate to a local animal shelter in the area you live.
