Kimberly (Miller) Andonisio

Kimberly M. Andonisio, 47, of Monroeville, was called to heaven suddenly on Tuesday, February 20th, 2024. She is survived by her three beautiful children Austin, Madison, and Kendall along with their father Michael Andonisio, parents Larry and Carol Miller of Monroeville, sister Laura (Miller) Vasilakos and brother in-law Nik Vasilakos of Massachusetts, two cats Neoma and Samoa, along with many other aunts, uncles, cousins, friends, and extended family. Born in Pittsburgh on November 9, 1976, Kim always brought smiles and laughter anywhere she went. Anyone that knew her would agree her favorite place was the kitchen. New recipes were always being zhuzh up, especially homemade meatballs. Kimberly enjoyed taking walks and capturing nature photographs on the Westmoreland heritage trail. She loved camping or “glamping”, as she called it jokingly, with anyone that would take a road trip to make some mountain pies. Kim treasured her family and loved being a mother, devoting her energy to her three children who would be home for holidays, special occasions, or just to get some of momma’s home cooked meals. Kimmie, as she referred to by her close friends and family, was a passionate person that loved to be surrounded by people, whether in person or on Facebook, sharing her thoughts and recipes that she would zhuzh up with what she had in the kitchen, posting photos on “Love, Laugh, Cook”. She loved all things fall from pumpkins, to cool weather, Halloween and fall colors. Kim loved decorating for all seasons, especially winter with her extensive snowman collection that was always on display. She loved music, from country, to “bubblegum” R&B music, to Jennifer Nettles (her favorite). Kimmie loved a good party and having fun, playing oldies with Dad or singing Tennessee Whiskey duet with anyone that would join her. A hopeless romantic, watching reruns of sappy love stories – how many times did she watch “The Notebook” or Greys Anatomy or flicks from the 80s? Finally rekindling her relationship with her first boyfriend before her sudden passing, Kim was able to find happiness which is a beautiful testament to the resilience of human connections. Throughout her life, she worked in food service, spending many years at Max & Erma’s serving good food and a friendly smile that also came with extra gummy worms and chicken tortilla soup for her kids. Kim also made a few stops along the way at the American Café and Coast and Main, then at UPMC. Friends will be received on Monday, February 26, 2024, from 2-9 p.m. at the GENE H. CORL FUNERAL CHAPEL INC. AND CREMATION SERVICES OF MONROEVILLE, 4335 Northern Pike (412-372-2100), and where a funeral service will be held on Tuesday, February 27th at 11 a.m. Interment will be private.
